Nine Years Gone

Not your average romance novel. This book takes you through a tortured romance. There’s just as much pain and passion. Don’t get me wrong, there are plenty of steamy scenes, but the story line is one that you’ll want to follow. Once the story begins, you don’t want to stop until you know what happens. The characters are developed beautifully and by the end you feel like you know them. This is a great read and makes wonderful references to music and Bostonian life. There’s also great cultural references: “coquito!” I highly recommend.

Deep. Dark. These words encapsulate what love and heartbreak can really be, especially when you're the one hiding something, doing the breaking, and even trying to rebuild. I loved the twists and story line. Definitely an interesting read if you're into romance but don't want the super steamy happenings all the time.
